Impostor Syndrome is a real psychological phenomenon in which people are unable to internalize their accomplishments. Despite external evidence of their competence, those with the syndrome remain convinced that they are frauds and do not deserve the success they have achieved – what the hell is this about and why do we sometimes feel this way? In this episode, Kate and Jenn discuss their own instances of imposter syndrome and some grounding techniques that help get out of that space. After all, we know we’ve worked had to get where we are – and we know you did, too. So let’s all take a minute, drop the pretense, and get over ourselves to enjoy the life we have. We deserve it.
